In the summer of 2015, Jeff, then a Pinterest software engineering intern, and Clare, an avid Pinterest user, bonded over their mutual love for this category-defining social platform.

In the fall of 2015, Clare and Jeff took their first road trip to the happiest place on earth: Disneyland. What did they do there? They got some Dole Whip and waited 4 hours just to take a 10-minute Splash Mountain ride. 100% worth it.

In the spring of 2016, Clare and Jeff embarked on their first international trip to Japan! They woke up at 2 a.m. to wait in line and witness the famous 5 a.m. Tsukiji tuna auction, followed by sushi for breakfast an hour later.

In the winter of 2017, Clare and Jeff spent their first Christmas abroad road-tripping across Spain and Portugal. They loved the canned sardines from Portugal so much that they brought back a full suitcase of canned fish! 🐟😄

Jeff and Clare moved to beautiful Reno, Nevada, during the peak of the pandemic! They discovered many nice trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing nearby. 🏔️🚶‍♂️⛷️

Oops! Clare had too much fun in Reno and ended up breaking her leg and dislocating her arm while rock climbing. Jeff lovingly took on the roles of Clare's personal nurse, trainer, chef, and barista, caring for her every needs while she made a full recovery. <3

This was a big week for Clare! She became Dr. Lou and Mrs. Han in the same week!
